<description>At this immediate point in time we have no indication that they will not pay for office visits. However, this action shows Blue Cross can make arbitrary decisions to limit care, so I am concerned for the future.
Anthem Blue Cross of California is raising rates on policy holders 39%. Where does it stop?
We will discuss this in detail on an internet talk radio show tonight, February 21, 2010 at 6PM. Click on the following link:

<description>I do not want to come across as uncaring..this is unsettling to everyone across the board; however, I do have to ask how this will also impact post-banded patients and their in-office follow up care…will BCBS no longer cover those office visits as well? Lap band changes people’s lives for the better and it is often times, as with me, not only improved my health, but my self-confidence…it was my last hope of ever getting back to a healthy state….last hope when all else seemed impossible….it is hard to believe that paying for preventative care now is better than paying for major, long term care later……insane. Please share your response to this question so we can be completely informed when we send our letters out to the persons you listed.
