SPEC sheet for successful Lap-Band Outcomes

Another wonderful guest post, this by Wendy Haddan. “SPEC” sheet:

S – support.  we have many ways of receiving support:

     1. Family  2. friends  3. support group   4. internet support  5. doctors & staff

P – portion control. we all know our band helps us limit our intake but it is up to us how far we try to push our band. If you question what your limits are just remember the tool to measure is always with you.  It would be the palm of your hand.  Betty May will always be glad to give you “the” portion lesson one more time.

E – exercise.  This is one many of us hate the thought of. I promise you will have much better success if you do not skip this part of your spec.  You will lose faster, feel better and tone your body as you lose.

C – commitment  Your band is only a tool. It is you who must be commited to the process.  If you do not work for the band it will not work for you.
